Dear Curious Independent: The nasty, highly partisan stuff online reminds me of Henry Kissinger’s comment about Iran fighting Iraq: “It’s a pity they can’t both lose.”
In answering your question, I will stick purely to business-ethics issues. I don’t endorse or criticize anyone’s policies or personality. I will also assume that Comey’s written statement is true, so we have a concrete baseline for discussion.
